Electrical power plays significant role in development of industry and agriculture.with growing demand of electric power and diminishing of  fossil fuels it has became important to generate the power more efficiently. This course therefore deals in detail about generation of electric power using thermal, Hydro,nuclear fules, diesel and gas .this type of power plant need highly skilled technician who are capable of operating various control equipment to supply uninterrupted power supply 

The electrical diploma holder has to workin industry  as technical person in middle  level management he has to work as production, maintainace testing engineer in various industry like power generation, transmission, distribution,traction etc and has to deal with different electrical measurement while performing the task he has to measure different electrical and electronic parameters with testing therefore e must require the skill for these measurement broad idea f different meters and equipments.
